TDP workshop: Become a TDP power user from your terminal

The TDP CLI is used to deploy and operate your TDP expert services. It relies on tdp-lib to provide handle and flexibility at your fingertips.

Some time ago, we announced the general public release of TDP – Trunk Details Platform – the 100% open supply large information system based mostly on the Hadoop ecosystem from the TOSIT affiliation. The opening of TDP marks for us an additional move to its goals: a 100% open up-source platform, freely accessible, with shared governance.

Having said that, TDP is a advanced undertaking, divided into many repositories, with many actors associated. Making its many repositories community is not enough to let the community to commit in it.

Adaltas is at the initiative of the platform’s development along with EDF and DGFIP. For that reason, in parallel to the documentation perform we are executing, we propose a sequence of workshops to share our working experience with the local community.

This 1st workshop is focused to the TDP CLI, with the next targets:

• Being familiar with the location of tdp-lib in the TDP architecture
• Setting up tdp-lib and getting started with the CLI
• Configuring and running variables
• Deploying parts and clusters
• Querying informations from prior deployments.

This workshop requires position remotely on Thusday, June 23, 2022, from 18:00 to 19:00 pm CEST (Central European Time) for 1h. It is carried out by Guillaume Boutry, an energetic developer of tdp-lib from Adaltas.
