Xerox has acquire Go Inspire as it looks to expand its Digital Services business worldwide. Go Inspire provides marketing performance and transactional communication services and sells to end users such as Ad Agency’s, Brand Retailers and Governments. Concern has been raised that Xerox is getting into the printing business and is starting to compete with printers they are also selling equipment too.

Go Inspire runs a wide range of high-speed printing and finishing equipment including HP PageWide T-series inkjet webs and Bowe inserting and enclosing equipment. While Go Spire operates in Britain with this acquisition Xerox has said they intent to expand their Digital Services business worldwide. Back in the 80’s Xerox ran copy centres that competed with other printers at the time. Some printers refused to buy Xerox equipment because they were competing with printers .
